Gooshy Developer built the Gooshy app as a Commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by Gooshy Developer and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.

If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

For a better experience, while using our Service, I may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including a unique Device/Account ID. This identifier is used strictly for routing peer-to-peer connections via our signaling server and is processed ephemerally. All text snippets and control inputs are processed locally on your device and transmitted directly to your target devices using secure, peer-to-peer encryption.

To facilitate the remote control service, the app transmits your data directly to your configured hardware or software targets. For internet-based connections, we utilize WebRTC technology with DTLS encryption to ensure a secure, peer-to-peer connection. Your text snippets and control inputs are encrypted end-to-end and never pass through or reside on our servers.

The app does not explicitly seek to use or collect your location data. Because the app uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to discover and communicate with Gooshy hardware, Android requires the app to request Location permissions. We do not use these permissions for tracking purposes, and we do not send any information regarding devices near you to our servers or any third party.

Our app requires access to your device's Camera solely to scan QR codes for pairing with the Gooshy computer software. This scanning is performed locally on your device, and no images from your camera are ever transmitted or stored by us.

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory. This Service does not use these "cookies" explicitly.

I may employ third-party companies and individuals (such as Google ML Kit for barcode scanning) to facilitate our Service. These third parties have access to your Information only to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf (e.g., processing a QR code locally) and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

I value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.

I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. I encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services.

I may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
